Erica Stokes's story was featured on “For My Man” on a show titled, Dangerously Desperate. The show's description states: Police are stunned when two young men are gunned down in their backyard; investigators find a heartbroken lover and a web of lies concealing the truth. Erica pleaded guilty to one count of felony murder and one count of robbery, as a lesser included offense of the charged armed robbery; an order of nolle prosequi was entered in regard to the remaining thirteen counts of the indictment. According to the state, " Neighbors heard the gunfire and called the police. Bailey and Ford fled the scene in the Honda. Neighbors saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the scene and noted its distinct muffler sound. She premeditated stealing the young girl's baby and convinced her boyfriend, Polion she had given birth at home and requested he get rid of the bloody linen which he did. Both were arrested.
