Delores Delgado's story was featured on “For My Man” on a show titled, Crossing the Line. The show's description states: The murder of a new mother shocks a quiet community, especially when investigators learn that her estranged U.S. Army sergeant husband has an alibi; investigators find evidence of a love triangle involving a woman who is willing to cross the line.

Delores pleaded guilty to the federal crime of crossing state lines to commit domestic violence resulting in a death. Malik Kearneywere convicted of murder, sentenced to life without parole in federal prison and ordered to pay $492, 000 in restitution to his former wife's family.

Delores Delgado was sentenced to 17 years in federal prison. She is eligible for release on 07/29/2031.

Her victim was Pfc. Karlyn Ramirez.

Delores' first mistake was dating a married man. No one should date someone who is in a relationship even if they are Mr or Ms Perfect. Love triangles never end well and in times like this, end in murder. Malik was clearly controlling and abusive. Educate yourself about what a healthy relationship is so you recognize one when you see it.
