Yamiley Mathurin's crime story is featured on Season Four of For My Man. These events occurred in the state of Massachusetts with her love interest, Alexander Gallett. Together they murdered Richel Nova who was working as a pizza delivery man. They took his life for a total of $140, a pizza and his car, leaving his daughter devastated.

She was sentenced to 17 years without parole.

Update, she could be released in 2027 if she has not incurred further charges behind bars. There is no indication that has happened.

The show's description states: Police are stunned when two young men are gunned down in their backyard; investigators find a heartbroken lover and a web of lies concealing the truth. Erica pleaded guilty to one count of felony murder and one count of robbery, as a lesser included offense of the charged armed robbery; an order of nolle prosequi was entered in regard to the remaining thirteen counts of the indictment. According to the state, " Neighbors heard the gunfire and called the police. Bailey and Ford fled the scene in the Honda. Neighbors saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the scene and noted its distinct muffler sound.
