the state of Texas with her love interest, Danielle Simpson The Simpson family was known to be criminal and the youngest, who was fifteen at the time of the murder can not return to Anderson County upon release from prison.

Jennifer pled guilty to murder. She was sentenced to life with parole after 30 years Danielle Simpson and the others were all convicted of the murder of the elderly school teacher. Danielle was sentenced to death and was executed on November 2009. He had volunteered to be executed and subsequently filed an appeal that failed.

Erica pleaded guilty to one count of felony murder and one count of robbery, as a lesser included offense of the charged armed robbery; an order of nolle prosequi was entered in regard to the remaining thirteen counts of the indictment. According to the state, " Neighbors heard the gunfire and called the police. Bailey and Ford fled the scene in the Honda. Neighbors saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the scene and noted its distinct muffler sound.
