Veronica Paz and Diego Armando Gonzalez


TV One describes this episode as: Veronica Paz is a beauty with a high school football star boyfriend but when another man comes between them she must make a deadly choice for the one she loves.

For the murder of her former boyfriend, Diego Armando Gonzalez , she was originally sentenced to 25-years-to-life term in prison which was overturned. She was resentenced to 15-year-to-life term in prison.

This series is described as Real woman in real relationships that will do anything for their man.


Never participate in a love triangle, no matter how great someone seems as there is never a winner, other than perhaps the person with two lovers. For whatever reason they are emotionally unable to let go of the other party. Love triangles never end well, and this one ended in murder. Respect yourself enough to know when someone is not emotionally available.

Erica Stokes and Deigo Bailey

Erica Stokes's story was featured on “For My Man” on a show titled, Dangerously Desperate. The show's description states: Police are stunned when two young men are gunned down in their backyard; investigators find a heartbroken lover and a web of lies concealing the truth. Erica pleaded guilty to one count of felony murder and one count of robbery, as a lesser included offense of the charged armed robbery; an order of nolle prosequi was entered in regard to the remaining thirteen counts of the indictment.
