Shaketa Jones and Jessie Cooper

Jessie Cooper
Shaketa Jones was charged with the murder of her boyfriend, even though he was killed by police because he was killed while they were committing a crime which is a very common practice. They were jointly robbing an assistant manager on his way to a bank. Her crime was featured in season one of For My Man.

http://sugarbabies.co/?ref=1076According to Jacksonville.com, For the second time, Shaketa Jones, 31, was convicted Thursday of second-degree murder in the death of Jessie Cooper, 29, who was fatally shot by two officers while trying to rob an Atlantic Boulevard Gate gas station during Memorial Day weekend 2010. Prosecutors argued Jones was at fault because she planned the robbery and served as a lookout, sitting in a car talking with Cooper on the phone in an adjacent parking lot during the crime.
She also was convicted of armed robbery.

This is an example of the controversial "law of parties" rule where if you commit a crime with someone and someone ends up dead, you can be charged with their murder even though you didn't kill them. Texas and Florida both have this rule, though not every state does.

This series is described as Real woman in real relationships that will do anything for their man.
